and operations support, your franchise includes:
- studying the demographics of
the location
- studying the competitive forces around the location
- studying a location’s traffic flows and real estate/retail
performance
- securing the location
- negotiating the leasing transaction
- negotiating the lease document
- a standard set of The $1 Store plus or Only Deals® store
construction specifications
- a store specific shelving and merchandising layout
- a construction format for store development
- a review of drawings for our approval
- forwarding approved drawings to the landlord (on behalf of
the franchisee) for landlord’s approval

- final inspection of the construction of the retail store
- a suggested opening inventory order subject to the franchisee's
approval
- the provision of one or two Head Office staff to supervise
store set up and opening for one week
- six days of post grand-opening on site support
- the right to use and benefit from our existing knowledge base
and continued knowledge growth
- the use of our supplier network
- the use of our trade name
- the use of our franchise manual
- a franchise agreement equal to the initial term of the lease
up to a 10 year maximum
- ongoing retail support from Head Office
- a five year franchise renewal option

inclusive franchise also includes:
- electrical, mechanical, and construction drawings
- all necessary construction, building, and occupancy permits
- store construction including materials and labor, built to local
building codes
- shelving and shelving accessories
- set up of shelving
- cash counters with bag holders
- interior signage
- exterior signage, signage permits and electrical hook up of
signage
- final floor treatment prior to store opening
- one year warranty on all material and workmanship
